Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay, was born at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn MCKAY, who was born into the Mormon Church's First Family, employed her creative talents and research abilities to create the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945, under the name No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. This title comes from a 1844 funeral sermon by the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. My story is not known to any one. It is not possible for me to tell you. Fawn was a 29-year-old Fawn. Since then the three authors have stood up to this challenge. Many have abused him while others have glorified him. Some have tried their hands at diagnosing him. The problem isn't that documents are lacking the issue is that they are fiercely contradictory. It is a daunting task to put together these documents--of sifting first-hand account from a third-party copycatting of Mormon and non-Mormon narratives into a masterpiece that creates plausible history. It is both exciting and educational. Fawn brodie was professionally committed to her work. Her writings and research earned her fame all over the world: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. The Intimate Histories (1974) as well as Richard Nixon.
