April Ross
April Ross has won more than one medal at the Olympics. She is among a few female players of beach volleyball to be able to do so. Alix-Klineman will compete with Ross at Tokyo for her third gold medal over the next couple of days. Ross's goal is to win her first Olympic gold medal. It may well be that it is her last chance, at 39 years old. However, she is confident of achieving top honours. Ross said on NBC Boston that if they play their best, or play a great game and they are able to play well, the team can win a gold medal. In addition, I'll try the chance to have chances. Ross was born in Costa Mesa, California in 1982. Her parents and her sister resided in the area. The athletic pursuits she pursued began at Newport Harbor High School where she was a part of a number of sports. She played basketball and ran track, in addition to her indoor volleyball exploits as a pre-collegiate athlete. In her final game, she clearly stood out. Based on her bio, she was an outside blocker as well as a middle hitting volleyball player throughout her time in high school. The award was presented to her as one of the Gatorade National Circle of Champions player of the year in 1999 due to her accomplishments. The 2000 Orange County Athlete of the Month award was also won by her due to her volleyball skills. Although Ross Klineman and Ross are a couple from 2017 onward, the former had already been a major participant on the beaches long before their pairing. As a matter of fact Ross has been a winner of several major tournaments in her career along with her two teammates. One is a volleyball legend. Jennifer Kessy was her partner for six years, from 2007 until 2013. She also coached Klineman as well as herself. Ross, Kessy's fellow teammate who won the world title alongside Kessy in 2009, also was a major force on an international level. The duo were awarded silver medals at the London Olympic Games. Misty May Treanor and Kerri Jennings the legendary team who was the winners of the 2012 Olympics in London, beat their opponents to claim the gold medal. Ross Jennings became Walsh Jennings partner in fate as Maytreanor resigned. They went on to compete for the bronze beach volleyball medal at the Rio Olympics 2016 with Walsh Jennings. Ross was a college player at USC Trojans prior to beginning the start of her professional career. She played during high school and in years prior to hitting the beach as a professional. Her experience at USC was quite impressive. In 2000 she was voted Pac-10 Freshman as well as NCAA Freshman Of The Year. She was also named an All-American. Additionally, she was one of the key players for helping the Trojans to make it to the Final Four. The second season of her career, she experienced a terrible personal loss and still managed to earn the honor of being named an All-American. In her last two years of participation in the Trojans program, she coached the Trojans to winning a national title every time. Her individual achievements have cemented her as a volleyball legend. She won the Honda Sports Award 2003-04 for the top female NCAA player. Ross studied International Relations at USC. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, did not have the opportunity to see her daughter grow into an international beach volleyball star. Ross's mom died from breast carcinoma in 2001. Ross had just become a second-year student at USC. In the aftermath, Ross is still close to her deceased parent. Margie is an inspiration both on and off of the beach.
