Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actor as well as a producer and director. She is most well-known for her starring role as a character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a child with her family in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of dreams. The mother of her children was fond of watching movies and inculcated a love for movies in her daughter as well. Paula was a part of co-curricular school events, and she was particularly interested in drama. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends and was a part of the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to act in high school and she picked acting for a profession. In a summer program at the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. She won a three-month assignment making documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the task, she began becoming an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. Then she moved on to producing documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career however, she longed for being an actor. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she has appeared in a variety of film and TV shows.
