Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous abilities, which included the ability to direct, act, produce, write plays, teach, and be director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of the British father and English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth. Anna moved to Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows at the Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton.
